At Curry’s Post Primary School, we are dedicated to providing transformative education to our local rural children from low-income families. Children attending Curry’s Post Primary School come from previously disadvantaged backgrounds, some facing the challenges of being orphaned or under the care of extended family members. Our school serves as a haven for them, offering not only a safe and happy environment where they can learn, but also a source of a nutritious cooked meal every day.

Curry’s Post Primary School is primarily funded through the Curry’s Post Educational Trust, which was established in 1993 with the aim of enhancing education within the Kwazulu-Natal Midlands community. The Trust plays a crucial role in supporting the school through various means, including:
Infrastructure and Resources: The Trust provides essential resources to the school, such as a well-stocked library and a fully equipped computer lab with a dedicated IT teacher. These resources are vital for enhancing the learning experience of our students.
Staff Salaries: Funding from the Trust also contributes to essential staff salaries, ensuring that we can attract and retain qualified educators who are dedicated to the academic and personal development of our students.
Financial Transparency: The Trust operates with transparency, and has audited annual financial statements to ensure accountability and responsible use of funds. This transparency extends to donors, who can receive Section 18(A) tax certificates for their contributions, thereby encouraging support for our mission.
Through the ongoing support of the Curry’s Post Educational Trust and the generosity of our donors, Curry’s Post Primary School is able to continue providing a high-quality education to the students of our community.
Yes! The Curry’s Post Educational Trust welcomes corporate funding and support. The Trust has been instrumental in advancing education within the Kwazulu-Natal Midlands community, and corporate partnerships play a vital role in achieving our mission by providing essential resources.
